What is this podcast about?

Omdenken is a Dutch word that could be translated into Flip-thinking. It basically means that you take a problem you're having, look at it as a bundle of facts and flip that problem into a new possibility.

Berthold Gunster is the founder of Omdenken. He built a whole company around this thinking technique with books, incompany shows (as seen in the video) and a podcast. So far, the Dutch Omdenken Podcast has over a million listens.

In every episode, Berthold has a conversation with a new guest about his or her real problem. They analyse it thoroughly, look at the facts behind the problem and might find a new way to deal with them.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is open to talk about a certain problem in his or her life. It has to be your own problem, a situation or thought you can change yourself.

• You have a concrete problem and are not afraid to be open about it in the podcast
• You can express yourself fluently in English. (Doesn't have to be perfect, Berthold has an accent too)
• You are willing to come to our studio in Utrecht to record the episode with Berthold.

How to apply

If you're still excited about being out guest, you can fill out this form. Every week we will review all applications and select a few to invite to the podcast. We can't invite everyone unfortunately, because we simply have too many applicants.

Within two weeks we will let you know whether we will invite you to our studio.

Then the idea is that you will talk about your problem with Berthold in our podcast studio in Utrecht (The Netherlands). A conversations typically lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. Participation is free of course. You can use a pseudonym, but know that your voice will be recognizable. Unfortunately, for now we don't record podcasts remotely.
